Starfish Education Joins 2nd National Education Council Assembly Under the Theme of “All for Education”

August 22, 2024 – Starfish Education joined its partners at the 2nd National Education Council Assembly meeting under the concept of “All for Education” at the Pathum Thani Vocational College in Pathum Thani Province.

This meeting was attended by Police General Permpoon Chidchob, Minister of Education, who presided over the opening ceremony and gave a speech with the topic "Area-Based Education (ABE): Driving National Education". MInister Permpoon emphasized the importance of developing Area-Based Education (ABE) that will help to organize education according to the context and needs of each area, as well as promoting participation from all sectors in truly developing education.

Dr. Atthaphon Sangkhawasee, Secretary-General of the Education Council, spoke about the importance of this year's conference, currently in its second year, with the objective of promoting participation in education and building a strong network to raise the quality of area-based education management to be solid.

There was also cooperation from educational network partners, such as the Subcommittee on Network Participation in Educational Management, Pathum Thani Vocational College, Panyapiwat Technology College, Thai Alternative Education Council Association, CCF Foundation, Kanchanaburi Provincial Education Council Association, Krabi Provincial Education Council, Kalasin Educational Development Council, the Equitable Education Fund and Starfish Education Foundation.

At this event, Starfish Education was represented by CEO Dr. Nanthaporn Janchalia Seributra, who along with the Starfish team participated in the exhibition. They presented tools for knowledge development and education management, including:

Starfish Labz - a learning platform designed to promote the concept of Lifelong Learning, which focuses on developing and enhancing knowledge in various areas to answer future educational needs; and

Starfish Class - an application that is a tool to help teachers measure and evaluate student learning. Its main functions are as follows:

Measurement and Evaluation: Provides tools to help teachers create and manage evaluations, such as exams, tests, or assessments of student performance.

Classroom Management: Helps teachers manage and track student progress, and to record academic results and progress conveniently.

Develop Knowledge and Skills: Tools that help teachers adjust their teaching according to students' abilities and aptitudes, making learning more effective.

Both Starfish Labz and Starfish Class aim to support continuous education and development using technology as a tool to increase knowledge and skills in a systematic and modern way.
